Selma Rucks said that Will was the youngest and was the only one born in the US. They are listed in the 1900 US Census in Winnebago County, volume .81, ED 160, Sheet 2, Line 19.
Verna Rucks said that there were many Kopiskes living in the same area, with spelling variations on the name, but none of them were relatives.
Cause of death for Wilhelm was Myocoditis (3 years) and the contributary cause was renal disease (3 months). He was a dairy farmer.
Cause of death for Ida was Tuberculosis (according to Selma).
